• “My dog is a very strong, highly strung staffy cross and Laura has given me a new understanding of how his mind works, using the correct tools and how my behaviour impacts his. As a result of meeting Laura and adopting her approach we are making good progress. Laura is a lovely person with an interesting approach and a focus purely on the welfare of the dog. If you have a challenging dog I'd definitely recommend.”

  • “I approached Laura to help me with getting my dog out of his cage permanently! And that she did! She gave me the confidence and the understanding I needed to help my dog be a lot more at ease! I will always recommend Laura to people who are struggling with certain behaviours in their dog that they do not understand or cannot figure out on their own. Lovely, lovely woman and very friendly, I can’t thank you enough Laura!”

  • “We have a 4yr old lovable but feisty Welsh terrier. During lockdown we were worried as he seemed to be becoming more aggressive and disobedient. He had been to various training sessions when a puppy and much younger, but these were mainly based on treat reward training and had limited success with a very stubborn and excitable terrier! We eventually found Laura who had a very different approach. She spent some time gathering information from us about Eddie and our relationship with him before he went for his very thorough assessment. Her approach is holistic and looked at every aspect of his life and behaviour and was able to give us some very clear guidelines and recommendations to improve his behaviour and make all of our lives much easier. This included changes to his diet to give him more protein and getting him a more comfortable harness (which gave him more freedom on the lead but allowed us to control him if necessary) but mainly made us understand the need to slow down. We had not realised that he was getting so much exercise and excitement that he was living on adrenaline, and this was fuelling his aggression. We changed his routines as advised and gradually we saw a much more relaxed and happier Eddie. He will always be a feisty terrier and we don't want to change his character, but we needed to be more in control for his own safety. Other dog walking friends have remarked on his improved behaviour, and we are so pleased that we have finally found training that works and benefits us all.“

  • "...frankly you have been the only person that had a holistic approach to Tilly’s issues and signposted me to helpful resources. The ‘training based’ approach to multiple issues is ridiculous and obviously did not work before I met you. Tilly and I are in a much better place now...I think she is doing really well and is a happy very loved dog. "

  • "I can’t recommend Laura Dobb highly enough for anyone who wants to learn how to speak dog and find out what makes the little furry ones tick. Not only does she do the Dolittle but she also teaches you how to create the happiest and most engaging environments for your dog at home, and when you are out and about. "

  • “So glad our holiday in Cornwall enabled a visit Dog Sense [my former dog enrichment business]! Laura provided us with such insightful, knowledgeable feedback and guidance, so many great ideas to reflect upon and clear next steps to put in place with our lively spaniel which are already making an impact. You could tell that Laura really cares about both animals and owners and I would highly recommend a visit.”

  • "Just had a session with Laura. She was so helpful and reassuring, we learned loads of stuff about how to make our dog a happier, more confident little girl. We’ll be putting it into practice and booking an enrichment session next.
